Open House and Babies

I woke up this morning at 11, hoping Jessica would stay asleep until 12. No such luck. lol Better I got up anyway. Stuffed myself at brunch, but a lot of it was fruit. After that I hung out in Elizabeth's room with Jessica. I rode the metro with Kristin to Union Station (it was the bus because the red line was crazy), but it was unusually packed with people today. We parted ways at Metro Center and I was off to see my boyfriend at his job for an open house of the fire station. Guess what? He called me and told me he was at a wedding! I was like "Ok...so do I wait?" Turns out I waited, and waited, and waited. He was calling me periodically to see if I was still there. Finally, he arrived at the station and I got to meet some of his co-workers. So, that was nice. I went into the mall because I didn't have change for the train. On my search for something cheap to purchase, I found some earrings at The Icing for only 3 dollars! Great news! I then proceeded back to school. Katherine called me, and picked me up so we could eat. (You saw that part already) On our way back to the car, and strapping Tamia, her baby, in the car seat, men just started to APPEAR...I was hoping we didn't have to make a run for it because it looked like they were surrounding the car! We got back safely, however, and now I am debating going to sleep or doing homework. Which one do you think will win? So far my weekend is going just as I planned. I love it.
