happy new year.. by the way.

I hope 2006 is good to all of you.

I spent the weekend in Boston. On Thursday night I randomly hopped on the T and made my way to Allston (all by myself, which was a big deal.. haha). I got to Chops's apartment. We drank and headed to the CKY show at the Avalon. I honestly had no idea what to expect from it, but I really wanted to support Deis and all that jazz. We got there during their set. I was really impressed by both the band and the fans. We bounced around the pit for a little while.. then decided to drink some more. After the show, we met up with Mr. Deis and his lady (who is super). I took pictures of him with his fans.... which was just so cute.... and so funny... and it made me really happy for him. After some debauchery with random kids (I may or may not have had nips of horrible whisky to share), I somehow got into Bill's Bar ("to pee"). We did some more of the hang out.. and some more of the drinking.. and for some reason I thought it'd be a good idea to do a shot of tabasco sauce. Chops saw how awful the reaction was... but then one anyway... about 45 minutes later. We tried to take Marcus/Milhouse home with us... hahaha. We left the bar around 1something, I think. Then we went to a Store 24...... where I remember asking the clerk, "Do you accept tips?" I remember also having a dollar bill and a handful of change. He laughed it off and said he didn't.... and that's fine, but what the fuck did this guy say or do to make me want to tip him?? Haha. I heart Boston.

oh, and at the bar (where I totally did not belong), I accidently dropped my ID on the ground. A bouncer came by and shined his flashlight on me (beer in hand) and showed me that he had it. whoops. I should have been kicked out. meh... haha.

Friday was absolutly gorgeous. I woke up to the sounds of the city too early... but managed to sleep in. Chops had to work, so I made plans with Bobby Hack. We went out for lunch.. and to a comic book store.. and a magic store.. and back to his apartment. I got to play with Riley (his adorable doggie). It was nice to see him and such. Especially out in Watertown-- now Ferdella is the only deadbeat :)

I met back up with Chops. He needed to go shopping. We went to Copely Square-- where we obviously did not belong. I picked out a sweet scarf for him though. We went out for dinner and went back to meet up with Mark2 (aka Rapist Mark)-- the most random kid ever. Julie told me she couldn't come out, so I was really bummed out. Soon enough other friends came. They all went to the bar, but Mark and I stayed in. We talked about important things. I love that kid. And we watched porn.

Then "that" happened.. and I had a miniature breakdown inside of me.. and started smoking (I think it was more to leave the room than anything else). Then I think we smoked-smoked.. and watched Ren and Stimpy.. and I was amazed/excited/horrified/it all made sense now. my childhood, that is.

Saturday I was a waste of life.. until we finally figured out what exactly we were doing for new year's eve. I really wanted to go to a club that would play hip hop. But the boys liked the "Vegas" style of Avalon. I was outnumbered. BUT, Strawberry-Julie decided to come out. So I was stoked.

I got ready.. and got a lot more drunk than I realized.. and "that" was stupid and unnecesary.. and such a failure. (still bothers me, I suppose). then we rolled out. met up with my darling and her boy. checked our coats. then I did some shots. drank some beer. and then things got interesting.

..too interesting..

(this is another story for real journals/girlfriend talks). I'll give the cliff's notes: I'm hanging out, dancing with Mark and Chops. This girl whisks me away to her friends. We dance. It's awesome. We go at it for a little while before she asks me something to the effect of: "will you go home with me and my boyfriend as a sort of 'treat' for him?" She definitely used the word "treat," and I definitely.. hahaha. So I'm like, "oh wow, you know, that's awesome.. you're beautiful, but I can't." She does not take no for an answer. Instead of letting me go on my way, she takes my hand and rushes me into the middle of the dancefloor. Then she proceeds to try to "convince" me to go home with her and her boyfriend. It was unbelievable. Oh my God.

After this whole fiasco, I found Ryan, and he took my mind off of this chick..... not so much. haha. but we did have a good time. he's a fun kid.

then I spent the rest of the night dancing with Julie and Tony.. and whoever else was brave/drunk enough to join. Did I mention that this was a TECHNO club??? We don't even know how to dance to techno..! So, of course, it was hilarious.

I thought the night was bad because of the club.. but after reminiscing about the things that happened with Julie.. I decided it wasn't so bad... even though I felt that I was haunted by techno the next day. I still need to tell her the girl story. I don't know about that though.

I spent my last lazy day in Boston with Mark and Chops. Happy New Year us. It's funny. A year ago, I would have never imagined this would be how my year would start.

(you can tell I'm starting to get lazy with this entry.. I remember when I used to be able to type out big, somewhat interesting things... I am lame now).

I think I have a lot more to say. I need to find some paper to write on. nunights.
