Who has heard of the expression "spike in prices"?
Tomorrow I'm going to New Orleans with my mom, dad, Paul, Erica, and BEX!!!! I'm soooooooooo excited! I don't know what there is to do in New Orleans, but the company is great so the trip has to be too.
A week ago I made a list of things that needed to be done before I left for G'ville and today I finished everything on the list. I needed to get my oil changed, a new hub cap, my hair cut, return some stuff to Linens and Things, email addresses to this girl from Camp Jenny....and its all done now. Wow, that feels good. But now that all of that is done, I start adding new stuff to the list. Like now, I need to wax my car and finish cleaning my closet and I guess eventually I'll have to pack for college (well, and New Orleans).
But tonight, none of that. Tonight will just be fun. And so will the next six days actually. And then when I get home I can figure out what needs to get done.
And I talked to Jackie, my roommate, last night. She seems very nice and happy and like she will definitely be able to teach me how to put on makeup! Good thing because Alicia will be too far away to do my makeup every time I want to go out. Hopefully, she'll be able to hook me up with a job, too. Mr. Higgins would be so proud of me if I started working with her! : )
