since everyone's posting songs.....
this was the only way i could figure out how to do this...so just go here
www.myspace.com/snarfzich (this will only be up for a day or two)
i went over to my friend's studio last thursday night and helped with a song he'd written since he's helped me out so many times. man, i love doing this stuff. i'm really pleased so far but it's far from being finished.
this is not usually my style of singing but....the song is kinda emo haunting so i had to pull out the voice of the girl from sixpence none the richer. haha. i'm a soul/blues singer at heart but i'll sing pretty much anything. i like the way my voice sounds wispy. but they need to tone me down a little so it's not such a focus in the first chorus. i like the end where you can just hear me say "breakroom" and "sunday". it sounds cool. and andrew (the guy who wrote it and is singing AND playing guitar) is just amazing. he's my favorite brother i never had. and we have an amazing musical chemistry. we're almost always thinking the exact same thing. it's like we can communicate music to each other telepathically. i have another song that i actually wrote but it's not on tobe's laptop so i can't post it now. in that one it's backwards because i'm singing and HE'S doing back up. lol.
work is good.
i'd rather be doing music though.
peace
don't eat babies even though they're fat and juicy.

*edit*
the other one's up.
man, i forgot how much work it needed. but anyway, there it is, i wrote it. it ended up being too secular sounding for me. i intended for it to be a little more indie blues sounding. maybe a little nora jonesish. and it sounds more sarah maclachlanish (sp?) now. but eh.
