i get so confused by life sometimes. mostly what i want and what i expect out of it.
i haven't posted anything of substantial value recently. and i'm sure this will be no different.
over break, i have been babysitting like whoa for the 2 kids across the street. they're adorable, but they wear me out. chase, who is 22 months, puked on me today. that was awesome. :\ and then i had to clean it up. the upside of this was the next time he threw up, i miraculously got him to do it in the toilet. even his mother was impressed. they pay $10 an hour so i can more than pay for books, pay krista partly back, and hopefully do something for myself.
which brings me to my real reason for posting: i need a vacation. i need to get out of lowell for a couple/several days. i need to just relax. i'd prefer to do it before going back to school. i know winter isn't the ideal time to travel anywhere but i need to get away. i haven't had a vacation since this time last year, to canada, and that was only for three days. i really want to go skiing so if anyone is interested, let me know.
my christmas was okay but my new year's sucked balls until about 12:30am when i ended up at krista's house and decided to fuck all and finally drink my champagne since i didn't have to drive anymore. i was drunk by 1am. everything after that was fun, but i hope i never spend another new year's like that. midnight was a bust.
other than babysitting, break has been going fairly well. i ended the semester with good grades, and on dean's list?! i don't know how that happened or what that means, but i'm pretty sure it's a big deal. i've seen tons of people which is great, both who i have and haven't seen in a while. like mike winward. and ben riggan. and nate felton. and kate. and ethan and tim and jon and dan [finally]. and OF COURSE kara and kellie. <3 we are investigators extraordinaire. i had an awesome date too. :) a couple parties and also lots of working at the good ol' YMCA.
i hope next semester is good. the last few weeks of the fall semester were great. and i kinda hope that continues. i think that living on campus from the beginning of the semester will be helpful. here's to a good spring!
