I mean, it's nice that they let Helo and Sharon get married, really, but I'm amazed there wasn't some huge uproar about it. How legal is this marriage? Wouldn't a bunch of people have been protesting the idea of cylon-human marriage? (Incidentally, I wonder if same-sex marriage is permitted in their universe. Of course, we'd have no way of knowing, since in three seasons we have not encountered even one known non-straight character...) Practically speaking, I guess they wanted to focus on other things in the episodes, which is fine. It's just interesting.
