*************************************************************

I was a New York City kid; afternoons at the Museum of Natural History, the trains shuttling me upstate and down, field trips through Central Park. Later, I'd go on to get kicked out of prep school when I was sixteen and lost. I can't tell you how much I love JD Salinger-- how much his work has meant to me, Catcher in the Rye in particular. But what a fascinating time, now! He's rumored to have FILING CABINETS full of books and plays and manuscripts, to be published upon his death. Others that were never to see the light of day. What treasures has he left us?
