Weird...I have this crazy cat lady friend with three Maine Coons, and those damn things won't leave you alone.
One of them climbed up my back to sit on my shoulders....that hurt SO bad.
Another of them, the really BIG one, Oberon, is like TOO big. When he walks through the room, it doesn't look real. Stuff looks too small next to him. Of course, my cat is tiny, so I'm already thrown off scale-wise.
What are you talking about?!! Our maine coon is a cuddle monstre! Pick him up he puts his head on your sholder and wee paws around your neck. You can also hold him upside down like a baby. I thought all maine coons were like that?
Sounds like our cats :( Pixel only wants to snuggle when I am sleeping (she lies curled around the top of my head on the pillow and alternates between purring like a diesel engine and twisting herself in my hair.) and Marvin never wants to cuddle. He will tolerate being pet, but only if we go to him :p
ETA: Also, I am tempted to turn this into a cross stitch pattern and hang it on my wall to remind me all the time.

Ours loves parties, because it's just so many more laps to lay in and people to snuggle him.
