I am home. I am so happy to be home. I had an awesome time in Toronto, especially today, when nafs and tangeriner and I went shopping - well, I did all the shopping - and ate at Denny's, which is always a win. they have chocolate-chip pancakes now! and I took them to MFD, which is my favourite doll shop, where I proceeded to buy a Tonner Snape, which is my insurance. see, I bought a Tonner Bellatrix at the factory sale a while ago, and I was ummm, a little afraid that if I left her home alone with my Barbies while I was at work I might come home to a happy Bella and a house full of dead Barbies. so. Snape was needed, to intervene.
also, the Tonner dolls are ridiculously awesome, and I am in love with them. now all I need is for Bella to _arrive_. *is impatient*
I also tried to buy a new Brian, but I was unsuccessful at that. in person, anyway - when I got home I ordered one which will hopefully be arriving at my house week after next. I was tempted by a few models they had at the store in Tiger Direct, but none of them were exactly what I wanted for the amount I wanted to pay, so.
so now I am home, and I have had dinner and dessert and I am nursing a drink and watching "Batman Forever" and thinking how lovely it is to have lovely friends who totally understand the insanity of one's obsessions (in my case, dolls) without judgment. and tomorrow night I work, so I should probably sleep at some point, but I am a little too comfy on my loveseat in my house to do that directly.
