and now I talk about television.
because YTV loves me and shows "Wolverine and the X-Men" on both Saturday (new ep) and Sunday (old ep from last fall), I have been enjoying the hell out of my weekends. it's just such a great show! and, yes, it is all about the Scott/Logan for me - I mean, come on. did Logan try very hard to get Rogue back into the X-Men? no. did he try week after week to get Scott back? YES BECAUSE THEY ARE IN WUV SO THERE :P! and he even went back after Scott blasted him through the wall (which was AWESOME, come on, you know it is, I bet Jimmy's pissed he didn't get to do that in the movies). and, yes, I admit that Scott is a dick, but it's part of his charm (and he is not nearly as much of a dick as Gambit is). :D
also, Showcase absolutely _adores_ me and has been showing "Ashes to Ashes." now, I know I should have watched and loved "Life on Mars," but I honestly couldn't muster any enthusiasm for it, so I haven't seen it at all. but! Keeley Hawes in a new show? hello there! I have adored her since I saw the first season of "Spooks," and have watched her in many things since, including hi there "Tipping the Velvet," hi. so, yes, I was absolutely willing to try this show just because of her, and OMG! OMG I LOVE IT SO MUCH! it is so completely fantastic, and she is gorgeous (srsly nobody should make the _clothes_ and the _hair_ from the 80s look so incredible), and there was Rupert Graves playing a Thatcherite and coming on to her and omg I want to have its babies forever amen. and and and. I want some Drake/Hunt fic because yes plz plz I was good I was not Hitler and I cannot believe I want some damn more unrelated het but there you go. thus is the power of Ms. Hawes. we're only on ep 3 here, which in part is a good thing because it don't want it to be over, but is also a bad thing because there are no dvds available on this side of the pond, and I can haz no fast internets to dl the entire damn thing and watch it all in one go. :( oh, well. I can still go search for fic on dial-up.
although, I saw people in town yesterday holding *$ cups, which makes me think that perhaps my *$ is open again, which I need to go find out as soon as the time is up on the two boxes of Feria I have in my hair. yes, I have so much hair I need two boxes of Feria, or three boxes of regular stuff. sigh. thank goodness for a good job, man. deblonding is key!
and now I go invade Poland eat chili and go look for hetfic. you wish you were me, you know you do.
