Jared Leto is prettier than your sister.
I feel like I'm failing in my quest to post a lot today, but I can't think of anything to say! so, possibly I will just post a random list of things that are currently making me happy:
- Gareth David-Lloyd. I know, I know, I talk about him ALL THE TIME, but seriously. boy is so my favourite straight guy on the planet right now, even beating out Sebastian Spence (who is _firmly_ in second place and will continue to stay there as long as I get to see him naked with Chad Allen some more this year why aren't the next movies out yet?). I just. love him so much. he's so pretty and I love his voice and he makes out with John Barrowman and is consistently professional and even borderline smirky about it and there is really no bad there. other than the bruises on his bum, because you _know_ JB is a handsy bastard.
- boobies. boobies pretty much always make me happy. currently, Paget Brewster's. seriously, I love the way they dress her on "Criminal Minds," making her sexual without slutty, and still professional. plus, she's gorgeous.
- the fact that it hasn't blizzarded since yesterday afternoon at 2. and what came down then didn't stick. and it's been sunny and beautiful all day.
- I'm going to Toronto next Wednesday! and I'm going to see "We Will Rock You!" (if I ever figure out where the hell it's playing.) I haven't been to a show since bachelor_girl and I went to see "Phantom" last year, and although it's not going to be nearly as fun since she's still in the wrong damn country, I have super-cheap close orchestra seats and I can't wait!
- not worrying about bills. applying for exciting new jobs. feeling like I have room to breathe for the first time in a few years. not going into panic mode if something breaks. planning to get a new washer as soon as the massive snowdrifts around my house melt so I can get it delivered.
- Caramilk easter eggs. which I am currently out of. :(
- Captain Jack, my media player. it plays NES games! I may have had a Tetris marathon the other night. and I can take it to work tomorrow and watch "Torchwood" eps on it!
- "Eli Stone." I know I haven't talked about it a lot here, but I've watched every episode, and I love it a lot. I'm always happy to see Jonny Lee Miller on my tv, and I like everyone else on it, too - there's no bad about getting to see near-weekly doses of George Michael and Victor Garber singing on my tv. and, dude, I _so_ want to slash the two laywers who teamed up to work on the baseball-juicing-manslaughter case. so. doing it.
- tv shows on dvd. I love not having to wait weeks or months to see "new" episodes, and just gorging in a marathon, or getting to see a different ep every day if I want to.
- Space is showing the new season of Hannah Spearritt's pants "Primeval" yay! love the "twist" they've got going this season. still want everyone to sleep with everyone else. there needs to be more boys taking their shirts off, though.
- writing. I love writing - I love it when it flows, when it feels right, when it says something that I really wanted to say, or, like today, when it says something that I didn't even realize was coming out until I was nearly finished. I love a turn of phrase that makes me smile or laugh. I love _creating_ something.
- I think I'm going to get my hair chopped off again. it's grown three or four inches; I'm thinking of cropping and bobbing it and maybe getting some layers. maybe I'll grab one of those hairstyle magazines and flip through. :)
