gnostic car adventure day
So, the dorms suck and Denton rules.
I'll start at the beginning. :]
I lost my phone chargers, except for my car one. I kept meaning to get in my car and charge my phone all week, but never got around to it. Long story short, the power in our room goes. Kaput. No electricity. So I decide to go driving, because Emily's gone to class and can't hang with me.
I explore Denton on my own for a little while. Checked my apartments out, looked around that area, drove really far out University (it turns into a highway!), and found the Goodwill. Called Emily who was then available and told me we still had no power, so I picked her up and we had an adventure.
We went to Goodwill to shop, then met Shelby in a parking lot to give him his hat back, and decided to find an alternate route home from the way we'd came.
We ended up exploring all around the southern part of Denton for like two hours. And you know the signs around here for that town called Argyle? That everyone always sees, and says "Dude! I want to go to Argyle!", those?
We went to Argyle. Population 2700-something. We went to the high school and looked around, and we were going to go to this antique shop but we passed it on accident. We went down this crazy forest road and looked at these gorgeous houses.
It was really fun. Any time I had a "OoOoh, what's that? I wish I knew more about that..." type thought, instead of ignoring it like usual, I just pulled over and learned something. Experienced something.
Such a gnostic day.
Tonight there's a party. It will be great. Just close friends/cool people that close friends know. Exciting stuff. Possibly some video games. Hardcore, cats.
