As far as pairings go, I'm willing to work with slash as well as canon pairings. For Lucifer, I consider most pairings to be slash anyways (even the heterosexual ones). I am not willing, however, for there not to be a valid reason for the pairing/interaction. For example, I don't really think that Lucifer would spontaneously fall head over heels for Chuck. It just wouldn't happen. I like to play my characters in cannon, so if I can find a viable and sensible excuse for such a pairing to happen, it can/will happen. If I can't find any reason for it, then it won't happen.
I also would rather play realistically. Yes, I will do smut scenes, but I'm not going to have Lucifer suddenly jump into sex with someone without a good reason. Again, I like to play everything canonnly and without a good reason, it just won't happen.
As far as pairings with Lucifer go, I'm more partial to:
Lucifer/Angels (especially the ones who were closer to him)
Lucifer/Demons (it would generally be a hate relationship, though)
Lucifer/Sam (for obvious reasons)
Lucifer/Castiel (this just appeals to me as being a wonderful hate relationship)
Lucifer/Ruby (mostly to keep up an appearance)
Any questions? Feel free to ask.

Name: Lucifer (Morning Star; Bringer of Light)
Gender: Male (commonly considered male, though angels are genderless)
Age and Date of Birth: Almost as old as creation
Species: Archangel/Fallen Angel
Fandom: Supernatural/Biblical Lore (some aspects are taken from canon, while others are taken from Angelology)
Description:
(Using James Purefoy as his base)
Lucifer's appearance changes on a frequent basis and those without strong angel intuition may and probably will be completely unaware of his true identity. He is able to easily bottle up the aura he generally gives off to warn others of his presence, though a strong angel would probably be able to see through his guise - not that he wants to truly hide from his brothers. Generally, however, he keeps the same vessel for an extended period of time until it has been worn out to the point where it is unusable. Ideally, he would be look exactly like Sam Winchester, but that is a different matter.
As of current times, his vessel, Nick, has been completely worn down and he has been forced to move into a newer vessel, by the name of James. He has been careful, thus far, not to make anyone aware of the change other than himself and a demon or two.
James stands at roughly 6"2 tall and is of a stronger, more sturdier build than average (not that that matters to Lucifer). He has short black hair that is generally a bit of a mess, not that this is uncommon for the typical survivor of the Croatoan virus. His skin is lightly tanned and mostly without blemishes, save for a small mole near the right corner of his mouth. Typically, this is unnoticeable because he has a fair amount of scruff on his chin and cheeks. His eyes are a deep brown color and seem to have the easy impression of trust and love.
Personality:
Understanding Lucifer and how his mind works is no small task. In order to properly understand how he operates, it's necessary to take it apart and assess it in separate layers. Of course, with his name, one immediately associates him with being evil, but this is not entirely the case.
First Layer: Deceit
Deceit lies above all other layers and commonly pins him as being evil. He is a master of words and rhetoric, weaving them artfully to illustrate the most sinful of notions as being virtuous. He's manipulative and knows exactly how to squirm his way inside of someone's head to get what he wants. Twisting and bending the truth until it's so undistinguishable from a lie is yet another one of his many talents in this area. When he's 'lying' to someone, it's nearly impossible to separate what is truth and what is not. After all, he does not really lie - just twists things around a bit until they mold and form into his favor.
Second Layer: Love & Hate
Lucifer, contrary to popular belief, loves his brothers and refuses to lay a hand against them. Demons, on the other hand, he doesn't care much for and is willing to let more than a handful die if it means he'll better himself or his plot in some way or another. While he loves his brothers, the ones who sent him spiraling out of Heaven and down into Hell, he still cares more for them and desires nothing more than to be, once again, in their love and light - while, of course, showing them what fools they were for obeying God so humbly and without question. Lucifer does not truly hate God, but rather desires his attention and desires for his Father to truly acknowledge that they are the better loved race. After all, he still loves his Father and the rest of his family, still loves them as much as the day he prepared to Fall.
Third Layer: Pride & Vanity
Lucifer takes much pride in himself. He had been the most beautiful and majestic of angels at one point and that has given him quite a complex in regards to his appearance and his status. He still considers himself higher and better than others, as always, and it is often his pride that allows him to get carried away. Those unaware of who he is would probably be more easily lured in by his outgoing and charismatic nature, even angels who are aware of his sins sometimes find themselves believing him.
Fourth Layer: Greed & Charity
Basically, if it exists, he wants to own it. He sees the world as being one large pearl and his hands as the oyster clamping down on it to keep it to himself, nice and safe. He knows that there are those who refuse until death to be his, but he still likes to consider that they all truly belong to him, sooner or later. Chances are that most of his possessions will end up dead or in Hell, but there are those who are more chosen and valued above others - these are the ones that present themselves as assets, most commonly they are demons or other angels. These chosen ones who are able to offer him something are looked after and often brought back to life if they are stricken down, so long as their value holds up. As soon as it begins to diminish, however, he no longer finds them useful and will not kill them, but simply 'allow' them to die.
Fifth Layer: Patience & Wrath
It actually takes quite a lot to incur Lucifer's wrath. While Michael was always the more violent of the two brothers, Lucifer was always careful and generous. He treats those he truly loves with kindness and adoration and even those he has no love for, he generally treats with indifference. He is not unwilling to sacrifice these beings though, especially if it will further his cause. But if he sees no real need to slaughter, chances are he won't be moved to do it. With those who cause him purposeful irritation, however, he is quick to punish in the most horrible of ways, so long as they aren't brethren. In the case of angels, he is especially kind and careful to make sure that they know that he wants to help them. Of course, the way he wants to help them isn't necessarily the way they want to be helped.
Sixth Layer: Determination & Sloth
Lucifer has lived for millennia and he isn't afraid or unwilling to wait a few years before his plan fully takes action. Angels have a hearty appetite for patience and are quite content with the slow, gradual pace at which destiny carries itself out. Lucifer has the comfort of knowing how destiny will play out, which makes him considerably more patient. This is not to say that he often sits idly by, waiting for something to happen on its own. He is almost always actively involved in spurring on the end of the world, but when there comes a lull in the process, he takes advantage of it to rest his vessel and relax until the pace picks up again. Likewise, in shorter terms, he has patience and determination when talking with someone, using every ounce of his carefully planned rhetoric to influence and mold them into what he wants them to become.
Seventh Layer: Demeanor
Outwardly, none of these traits ever completely surface one at a time. They are all woven together carefully so that all means, motives and desires remain as obscure as the afterlife. Lucifer appears, most commonly, to be vengeful and spiteful, while underneath lies a much more complex motive. To those who do not know him, he is the sweetest and kindest man alive, with a strange aura about him that suggests trustworthiness, power and knowledge. To those who do know him, his power of creating sympathy and empathy within his enemies is quite near strong enough to make them a friend.
History:
Lucifer had once been the most loved and cared for of all angels. He had been created above the other and had the gifted amount of intelligence and love that even the other archangels lacked. His Father had created him to always be there and to be the one angel that was above all others, to reign supreme at his Father's side for all eternity. Lucifer, seeing how much higher he was held than his brothers and sisters, took his power for granted and became prideful of himself, committing the first sin known to his kind and to the world. He became so proud that, when God created humankind and when He asked for the angels to bow down to the likes of them, Lucifer refused to do so. He tried to reason with his Father, claiming that they were not worthy of His Love and that they, the angels, were so much better and so much more deserving. When God would not hear Lucifer's cries, the archangel devised a plan to become like God. He knew that he could never surpass his Father, but he was certain that he could become almost as great. He wanted the highest ability that his Father had, which was to be able to inspire life and to create, to be in control of all the little creatures and watch as they grew.
As his final sin while still in the eyes of Heaven, he created the first demon, Lilith, in the likeness of the creatures that God now claimed to love. He showed his Father what horrible things that humans were, what the potential they had to become. And, though he saw his intentions as true, God turned his back on Lucifer, drew all His Love from the archangel that had been destined to be His most loved and cherished.
Scorned and spiteful, he drew forces from the angels of Heaven who sympathized with him, who wanted to see the humans destroyed as much as he did. Their army grew to a great size and war broke out amongst the Heavens. It was a battle that was unprecedented, it was the first, true battle. It shook the skies and made thunder crack and lightning explode and all the while, Lucifer waited for his Father to call it off, to accept that Lucifer was right.
That, however, never happened, and Michael and his troops defeated Lucifer and his army, despite the odds. Lucifer fell, becoming the first fallen angel, and many angels after him fell, following their new leader into the deep, dark prison of Hell, which God had so kindly prepared for their arrival. Lucifer was sealed inside of Hell, doomed to rot there until his Second Coming.
Years passed. Ages passed. Lucifer had watched the humans with intent spite, letting his rage and love cultivate until it was the perfect time bomb, simply waiting for the day when he would walk the earth again. That day came when Samuel Winchester slaughtered Lilith and filled a beautiful monastery with his first daughter's sweet blood. Lucifer was risen and was pulled up from the ground in all of his splendor, released into the sky, able to, at last, draw his wings out and feel the toxic human air. He was ready, by that point, to hand out the poison that had been brewing within him for so long. He was ready to take his true vessel and to use it to the full potential, to bring the end of the world and fight his dear brother Michael to the death.
Of course, Sam Winchester and his brother, Dean, had to go and complicate things by running away like scared little puppy dogs rather than simply accepting the inevitable fate that would be forced onto them one way or another in the end. That was how destiny worked, after all, and every good angel knew that they had a role to fill out in the upcoming war. They had to force Sam and Dean to collapse and fall into their vessels, or the war would never be over with. Sam and Dean had to accept Lucifer and Michael before anything was allowed to happen. That was how destiny wrote their fate, after all.
Over a span of time, Lucifer's initial vessel, intended only to be temporary, wore down completely and he was forced to find a new one. The search for a good vessel was never an easy one, of course, and it took plenty of searching before he selected his next one. The approximate lifetime of each vessel tended to be up to be a year, possibly more if he was able to draw out the length of usage. In any case, during the long periods of time that he wasn't able to be on Earth in physical form, the work he had started never stopped. The demons he had employed were always hard at work, of course, working diligently to complete any task that he so desired to be completed. And, as always, the Croatoan virus ran rampart among the cities, spreading the disease further and further. The horsemen were generally happy with what they saw, plenty pleased with the destruction of humanity.
Lucifer goes from home to home, always circling the refugee camp, always waiting and watching for his opportunity to attack. Because he does change vessels every so often, he has considered the possibility of 'joining' the refugees so he could become close enough to Sam in order to trick the other into accepting him. He has yet to act on such notion, however, for fear that Castiel (no matter how ruined his brother now is) would recognize him for what he truly was. Until the time comes when he can properly move in closer to Sam, Lucifer hides in waiting.

Lucifer was pensive. If he were narrating his life, that would be the exact word he would have chosen to use. It fit wonderfully in this exact moment as he sat in the center of a decimated kitchen that was reminiscent of a 1950s nightmare come to life. The seafoam green and pink tiles on the floor were smeared with soot, made bright wherever a footfall happened to be. The cabinets were striped, several hanging off of the hinges, revealing the empty contents of a pantry long ago raided for anything that could be considered useful. The sink was a mess, he was afraid to say, and piled with cracked, dirty dishes, none the less. On one of the counters sat a fat, porcelain cat whose head was missing and whose innards had long ago been greedily devoured, possibly even by the grubby hands of children before the Croatoan had begun making its rounds.
Children were hard to come by these days. People stopped paying attention to the whole procreating issue because who wanted to raise a child when the world was ending? Sure, there were the select few who were lucky enough to hoard away in some safe center before the Croatoan reached them, but that couldn't be considered living, not really. Even the humans who had been infected didn't bother with reproducing. No, they, along with demons, were much more concerned with raping and pillaging. Everything had gone to Hell and here he was sitting at a withering kitchen table, pondering the blemishes on his vessel's body.
He had tried his best to keep it in the best condition possible, but that was rather hard to accomplish, considering all things. His nerves twitched and he felt the fist draw in tight, watching the wrinkles, the liverspots, the spaces of peeling skin. He had been doing his best to find some manner of incantations that would keep the vessel alive longer and stronger, more durable and suited to his needs. But the inevitable was... inevitable. His vessel would never last. His only hope was to convince his brothers to join them and help him capture and more properly convince Sam Winchester.
His fingers slowly uncurled and he brought them up to rub his chin, thoughtful. He wondered if Michael still wanted to play, or if he would have to wait forever on a dying Earth. He hoped Michael would show up. It would be such a pity if he didn't.
