You've got red on you
Yesterday was a serious roller coaster.
I went out to the House of Vice to hang out with Wyn and other awesome people. Then I headed on down to Tarzana/Woodland Hills to bother Nina and help prepare ourselves for our impromptu Forbidden Zone dress-up night. Everything was put together. We headed off. As I was turning to get onto the 101E, I heard this loud bang. I thought I'd run over a curb or something. I kept going on the freeway. Then I smelled something burning. Immediately I pulled off to the side of the freeway and peeking out at the front of the car. My left front tire was dead. After a string of phone calls (ranging from panicked, to annoyed, to calm, to annoyed, to angry, and back to calm again), AAA was called and a tow truck as sent to put on a spare. I made it to Rocky and strutted around with Nina, showing off our handy work. We even got to do Take Over scene. I had a blast. Rocky totally made up for a lot of things.
I made it home safely on the spare and proceeded to wash away all the make-up and red hairspray. If I had to guess, I probably got the bed at around 5am. There's still a little big of red on my scalp, but I shall deal with that tomorrow morning. Anwyay, when I woke up this morning (at 1pm) I found out that my parents had gone to put new tires on my car. When I called my dad, he told me that the old dead tire was THRASHED. And the spare? It had been really, really low on air. I'm very surprised (and very thankful) I made it home in one piece.
So yeah. Last night was... eventful. Right about now I'm glad I have the day off work tomorrow.
My poor little car. She's been through some shit. No more than a couple of days ago she was in a little accident on the freeway - hitting the car-in-front-of-her's bumper. I haven't received any call about it yet, so I'm hoping that the lady in the other car just went through AAA and I don't need to do anything. The last thing I need right now is for that situation to get complicated. My tires were due to be replaced anyhow. The tread was REALLY worn down. It was only a matter of time. Next thing I think will be giving me trouble: the brakes. I need to take it easy. :\
Also: I want to start looking up parts to build a Tom Servo. As if I wasn't weird enough already.
