We've just finished Week 3 of Bootcamp with very noticeable results in my chestal region. I love it.
So with Bootcamp we have a routine, and without this routine we'd never stumble out the door in the morning. Our alarms go off at 5:32 and 5:34 everyday because two alarms are better than one.
Things that need to be ready the night before:
- Hairbrush and Elastic on the Counter
- A handtowel and a Facecloth on the Counter for a cold water face wake-up.
- Water Bottle in the Fridge
- Sport Tape and Scissors in an obtainable location.
- Work-Out Clothes sitting on top of my dresser, preferably in order.
- Sneakers untied at the Door
This happens every morning - otherwise it would be confused, sleepy chaos.
This morning my socks were under the rest of my clothes, no big deal. This just meant that I forgot to put them on when I went to brush my teeth. I came back in my room to put them on only to find One lone sock sitting on my dresser and Sean sitting reading the news online ready to go. I stared at it, and looked around the perimeter of the dresser. Surely it couldn't have fallen down the back?
Me: I can't find my sock.
Sean: *turning away from the computer* Hmmmm?
Me: I can't find it, there's only one here.
Sean: *silence* Ok, I stole it.
Me: Pffft What?
Sean: *remorsefully* I couldn't find my other sock so I took yours. *takes off sock and gives it back*
I don't know why I find this so funny. Maybe because it's so early in the morning that in sleepy desperation Sean's only answer to find a sock was steal one that was clearly ready for my use; or maybe because it was a friggin' sock and it was 5:42 in the morning.
