and on a more personal note, lauren and i are moving in together this month. woot! i'm looking forward to saving money, having a prettier apartment, and living closer to school (WeHo). today we moved all of her stuff into our new place with the help of a few non-musicologist friends. since i've paid rent on my old place till February 28th, i'll be moving my stuff in more gradually over the next two weeks or so, culminating in a giant move towards the end of the month.
and sometime in march, we'll throw a giant housewarming party to celebrate! since neither i nor lauren throw many parties, we're pretty excited about this. so keep your el jay eyes open for an invitation.
