that quiz thingy
1. culinary: kraft mac'n cheese (not massively original, i know - but oh so good. i esp like it when my tongue turns orange. the more velveeta the better.
2. literary - any of those "women's magazines" the trashier the better. and not in an ironic way. i just LOVE Cosmo - the useless sex advice, the expensive clothes, the make-up tips that will never be relevant. i have "accidentally" made off with waiting room ladies home journals before, in weird moments of desparation. i think for me it has to do with constructing a fantasy reality that has nothing to do with my life as a queer musicology grad student just scraping by.
3. audiovisual-sci-fi horror/action/adventure-esque movies. this started with the Alien Quadrivum, and went downhill from there. like i loved "The Core" and even (gasp) AvP (that's Alien vs. Predator for the uninitiated).
4. musical: ichbinkelsey - i feel yah on the Eminem thing. i own the marshall mathers LP and like certain tracks and feel ill about liking them. also Le Tigre. this has to do with their playing at MichFest and still being so much third-waver fun!
5. celebrity-lots of celebrities are cute, but i rarely get real crushes. mostly i just find various folks hot. my latest (which is so guilty it's delightful) is the 15 year old Emma Watson of Harry Potter fame. I mean, how can you not resist those braces? this is all hardrockgrrl's fault, tho, for buying that ElleGirl magazine and keeping it by her bedside.
I'm going straight to hell, i know, but at least i'm going to have a great time getting there. :-)
