Apparently 2006 is NOT off to a good start. This class is killing me. Now I know most of you think that taking one class wouldn't be that difficult, but I'm telling you this is the hardest class I have ever taken. Every single day I have to make a fifteen minute presentation on some topic in a given area of computer science, ie. today I gave a presentation on computer clusters that network together so that they operate at the capacity of a single supercomputer. I gave an example where a computer can process up to 12.25 TFlops of data in a single second. That sounds smart right? Until the prof asked me to explain what a TFlop was...and I have no idea. Apparently a TFlop is one tera floating point operations...which I think is 10^1000000 highly dense computations. Maybe? And you know what else...not only do I have to give these presentations, but I have programming assignments as well. I had two programs due last weekend, and one program due next weekend. I spent about six hours last week programming, and at least that much this week. To top it all off there is a comprehensive final exam at the end of the month...and by comprehensive I don't mean it covers this months material, the exam covers the last three and a half years of computer science. And what's worse, the grade in this class determines if I get a degree or not. How about those apples? So when you kids complain about school work and how much you are stressed out, I can officially say "Bite Me!"

Other than that though...things are great. Dusty is great. Church is great. Youth is great. I've been spending extra time reacquainting myself to some old friends, which is nice.
