I'm an incoming freshman to Cooper. One of my roommates has a VCU e-mail (we've not communicated yet). I've watched you on deviantART for awhile. I read your journal and harbor the same fears (if you could call them fears, more like anti-hopes, though there's probably a better word) you had before transferring, and seeing them confirmed by you was nice, though disappointing, but also expected, so it doesn't really matter.
Anyway. Just thought I'd say something sometime this summer. I guess we may or may not be acquainted some time in the next year or two.
hey, well, congratulations firstly. i'm sure i'll run into you, the community is small enough. surely freshman year is a bitch, i know i was so miserable I nearly transferred again... but i think this year will be better. are you dorming it?
I am dorming it, 10D, I know they say your own apartment is better and costs the same, but I really should at least try to make friends. And be close to the school, I guess. I've heard freshman year was harsh, in different ways from different people, so I'm not expecting a happy go-lucky time, but that's fine.
And, since no one else seems to know, do you happen to have interacted with anyone participating in the Irma Giustino Weiss Cultural Enrichment Fellowship Program? Maybe it has a nickname. I don't know. It just looks interesting.
