2005 in review
i too am skipping papers like morgan, so like morgan i am going to list the first sentence from the first entry of every month of the oh-5, in reverse chronological order, and with commentary in brackets. i've written pretty sparsely this past year...
dec: [i got nothing. retroactive: "I have turned into a big homebody"]
november: Allie and I have found a beautiful apartment. [that it is. we are so happy there. so is the cat.]
october: I have lots of work... cooper isn't that exciting and everything is so damn conceptual. [i've found solace in drawing silly things like cat art and sloppy paint]
september: I got dark tan lines and saw lots of interesting fish and now love shave ice and green tea mochi ice cream. [my tan lines still aren't gone...]
june, july, august: nothing [jesus!]
may: There's a VCU girl going to cooper next year just like me. [that would be eliza, i adore her]
april: oh by the way debbie and i did NOT go to the gym twice a week. [in fact I don't think we ever went back.]
march: Instead of studying I spent my evening eating thai food, talking to my little brother, and bra-shopping. [sounds like my life about now. i need to do some bra shopping in fact.]
february: next fall i will be in manhattan [i had just been accepted to cooper, how long ago that seems]
january: ok, so i have a space in an upcoming art show and maybe a show to myself, too. [ha! neither of those happened. a different one did, but it was lame-o.]
