I have lots of work... cooper isn't that exciting and everything is so damn conceptual. the breakdown is that i can draw, but i can't think. or at least, i'm not a very creative person. at least in the Cooper way. We have projects like make cardboard structures that interact with negative space, and collecting examples of the dot. exploring the dot. destroying the dot, transforming the dot. my 2dd teacher loves dots. my drawing class is about drawing badly proportioned messes and talking lots of b.s. about it. I think I will graduate knowing everything there is to know about the dot and very excellent at talking lots about nothing.
new york is so dirty, smelly, cold, wet. for me the ultimate repulsion is walking over the subway vents and feeling that burst of temid foul air. that makes me want to retch and then take a shower. unfortunately they are often unavoidable.
