(no subject)
Today, by suggestion of my boss, I am 'working' from home. In terms of what I'm actually doing vs. NOT getting done, it's not too different from a regular in-office day. But it is quite nice to be doing my daily eRounds without having to look over my shoulder or consider if links/attachments my perverted friends send me are SFW.
Other things that are nice about not being in the office:
1. not having to hear the word "ghetto"
2. not having to hear the word "retarded"
3. not having to hear the word "gypped"
4. not being called by the wrong name
5. not having to stress about when and where to drop a bomb
6. not having to listen to a table full of high-ups discuss what is the correct inflection when saying "SCHWING!" (actually happened yesterday)
AND in an attempt to have a more positive attitude about the choices i make, i will MISS these things:
1. the endless supply of that powdery salt flavored chicken soup
2. the toys on my monitor
Thats a good start, i guess.
