Life's been busy. Did the NYC theatre course- it was amazing- love love loved it and saw some amazing shows. GOt to meet Matthew Broaderick after "The Odd Couple" and Stephen Lynch after "Wedding Singer" among many others. It was a great time and I got some great books and plays. I just read "Red Light Winter" by Adam Rapp (one of my favorite playwrites) and I bought The Script to "Rocky Horror"- I thought that was neat, "Noises Off" <- been wanting that one for a while, "Acting as a Buiness" <- it came recommended in one of our workshops- can't wait to read it, and th screenplay to "American Beauty." Wil and I found the Drama Book Shop- it was like heaven there- sadly, we couldn't spend much time there :-( But Dylan and I are going back this summer.
Just recorded another "It is to Laugh" for WMPG on Wednesday-I love Improv- it's helps me with my acting and it's such fun! If you wanna listen- it is on every friday night on WMPG from 10:00-10:30.
This past weekend- two friends of mine were married and I was lucky enough to be at the wedding: it was very nice and they are going to have a kick-ass honey-moon: 17 days in the Virgin Islands. I hope they handled their gift from us carefully: Crystal Martini glasses and a picture in a glass frame- I didn't write FRAGILE on it bcause I thought that would be dumb- hope they made it home with a full set...
The next day was Jessie's (Twin's) Bridal Shower thrown by us briesmaides- it was very nice- I thought it came together well,and Dylan came- we set him up downstairs and he made a video for her with all of us on it. He's a keeper- what other guy would do all the crazy wonderful things he does?
I'm going to do the Commedia workshop in July (as long as there's room still) which I'm looking forward to.
Other than that: Twin's wedding July 1st, Bahamas in August and NYC again around our anniversary :-) It's already a really good summer.
