Lol, because I am totally loving ships involving book characters these days. Ruth's given me killer plot bunnies (with machine guns yo) for Jack/Sergeyev (from the Doctor Who novel The Deviant Strain). Sure there is no slash in the book, but these two are totally into each other.

So I am totally thinking of writing fics for all these pairings, but ( Read more... )

Just as an FYI re: Ianto/Idris, I'd read either an exclusive Ianto/Idris OR Jack/Ianto/Idris. Basically, they're all hot and can all do each other. YES.

I did think Greg was a bit of a Ianto clone, but I didn't pick that option because in the hands of a good writer, he doesn't have to be-- he can be developed in new and interesting ways.

Michael was awesome, and although he is yet again dark haired and blue eyed, personality-wise he seemed quite different to Ianto.

Yeah, I was kind of hoping to write Greg with a little more depth. But I'm not that good a writer so I hope I could pull it off. I'd definitely like to write about their relationship at some point.

I think you just need to play around with his voice a bit-- get a sense of what he sounds like.

The relationship that I'd really like to explore in depth myself is Jack/Alex (from Fragments). They were so totally shagging.

Um, every single one of my answers were "OMG YES". Clearly, I love slut!Jack. But I really did love Jack and his relationships with all these people (except Sergeyev, like I said, I totally didn't see that, but I wasn't really paying attention, but I would read fic of them in a heartbeat.)

I usually hate slut!Jack. More like, I don't think he is a slut. I think he has genuine attachments to the people he sleeps with.

Anyway, I think I need to be marrying you now. Anyone who loves Jack/Greg is a wife of mine.

I actually agree, I'm of the frame of mind that Jack's a serial monogamist. A friend of mine and me had a discussion where we decided that Jack isn't the closed off sex crazed ass people perceive him to be, that he's quite the opposite. He's got an endless amount of love in him and tends to fall in love pretty easily.

Hee! I totally accept the proposal. And I actually don't mind that all these characters (Greg, Michael, even Idris to a small extent) are "Ianto clones", because as Bilis says, "Jack's got a type. Who knew?" I think it's kinda cute.

OMG NOW WE DEFINITELY NEED TO GET MARRIED. That is the exact same opinion I have of Jack. <3

Ianto/Idris/Jack I would totally read! I just got to the bit in Twilight Streets again with Idris. Bless him.
Think I would prefer Jack/Idris to Ianto/Idris but I'd read both.
