Okay, in six days there is a chance I may not have the internet. For possibly more than a week. Needless to say I am fucking gutted. But no one gives a shit about my opinion around here. I know this makes me sort of pathetic, but all my friends are online - and I just can't do without you guys. So yeah, everything's turning to shit, stuff's getting cancelled, I find myself wondering why I bother. Just balls. I'll go mad without you guys, for srs.
Anyway, I was planning on doing this earlier but lost my motivation when all the internet shit kicked off with my dad. But I'm doing it anyway. I love fanfic, and I love to rec people the good stuff. So this is me attempting to make a top ten out my favourite fics. Most of these are well known in the fandom, so there probably isn't anything new to you, but it's always awesome to re-read the great stuff. Click the title to go to the fic.

- Moving In by ukcalico. Probably my absolute favourite! Ianto's first day at Torchwood Three, and him and Jack are already having hot sex in the Hub corridors. I especially love Jack in this, so oblivious to Ianto's inner anguish, and kind of smitten already.
- Our Man From the Council by ceefax_the_sane is probably the hottest thing I have ever read. It's Jack/Ianto/Idris (from Boomtown and The Twilight Streets). I usually don't like to read threesomes, but I'm so glad I read this one. So do it, it's incredibly hot, trust me on this dudes. Caution: your brain may melt. I really want to read Ianto/Idris now though, anyone know of any?
- The Rules of the Game by lionessvalenti was written for thestopwatch back in August, and it's just wonderful. It's set post Exit Wounds and it's sweet, and funny and sexy. Jack and Ianto play a little game of sexual deprivation. The first one to give in loses. But when Ianto gets hurt, the rules are pushed aside. Oh, and there's good Gwen, I love when fics have good Gwen. A frightening amount have her being a total bitch all the time.
- Best Laid Plans by out_there is set after the end of They Keep Killing Suzie. It's pretty much pure porn - the good stuff. Oh, and note Jack's little condom trick, which is just the kind of thing I'd expect Jack to be able to do. Man has talent, haha.
- Cinephile by nightanddaze is a wonderfully sexy post From Out of the Rain fic. Jack and Ianto go to the cinema, Jack speaks French and Ianto has a hot, dirty little kink, which Jack is only too happy to indulge him in. I love the intimacy of this fic, and the sex of course.
- The Calm During by nightanddaze I have already recced, but it deserves another. nightanddaze writes Jack and Ianto so well, sexy and intimate - and this one is especially intimate in my opinion. It really is breathtaking this one, so read it.
- Getting to Yes by technosage. Just, oh yes! This one is really fucking hot. And top Ianto is what I love to read the most. And oh, the anticipation! It makes the end so much hotter.
- Belonging by burkesl17 is wonderful. Ianto goes to visit his family, Jack misses him and keeps calling for phone sex, Gwen is nosey, and the sex at the end is hotter than a hot thing. Bonus points for top Ianto.
- Pobol y Ffaglcoedwig by derryderrydown is also set during Ianto's first day at Torchwood Three. First time sexy times. This one's Ianto's POV, and he just breaks your heart with his conflicting emotions. You also feel for Jack as well, because he's really rather tender with Ianto.
- More Than Flesh and Bone by misslucyjane. This one's pre-series. Ianto's a student visiting home, he meets Jack one night and takes him home. Jack and Ianto share a (sexy) night together before Jack has to let Ianto go. I adore thie one! Sexy and sweet, and I for one could see it being canon.
