I saw Confessions of a Shopaholic last night, it was cute. I could relate, totally! The best part was the window mannequins coming to life and tempting her to buy stuff! I felt her pain! I guess that's a bad sign! I bought a pair of Peter Kaiser shoes two weeks ago, that're great! Comfortable, unique and very well made. When I finally decided not to take them back I felt a mix of assurance for standing by my decision and gut wrenching anxiety for spending so much on a pair of shoes. I spend a lot on every day shoes, so relatively speaking the PK's weren't too bad. I have many ways of justifying myself. I spend a lot of time on my feet, I want to look after them. I'd rather spend a lot of money on one pair of shoes I'm going to wear than several pair of regular prices shoes that are going to torture my feet and wind up gathering dust under my bed!
Oh, and I had two glasses of wine last night and a chocolate bar, yikes! So I'll be running today.
