Is it really only Wednesday? This week is going sooooooo slooooooowly.
*******************
I was recently informed that Rochester has a lot of air pollution. I was not aware of this. Evidently the air quality is unfit. There is actually a rating system for this and the city has reached a rating of 146. Only 4 small points below Minneapolis and St. Paul. This actually ranks Rochester in the "unhealthy for sensitive groups" and Minneapolis in the "unhealthy for all" category. I'm not sure who came up with these rankings, but it seems very scientific. Recommendations are to refrain from exercise or activities that induce heavy breathing. I guess that means it's a good night to sit on the couch. SHOOT! I was hoping to do some really strenuous activities. Darn it all! Really though, I can't imagine what it would be like if we were ACTUALLY a big city and had a lot of traffic and industry. People would be passed out on the sidewalks at that rate. Joggers would be rushed to the hospital to be hooked up to an iron lung or some crazy thing.
So here's a dilemma. Drive to work and cause more air pollution or walk to work and become a victim of the air that is "unhealthy for all." I think I'll drive around and find a hospital supply store and get myself an oxygen tank and then go for a nice long car ride.
Happy heavy breathing!
