It's been bugging me. WHY a FOX to represent an EARTHQUAKE? I mean-- where's the sense in that? How does one put Fox and Earth together?
That question was very much on my mind when I went to hit my browser button to get online today--
--and then I felt like an idiot...
DUH!
I use Mozilla Firefox. Its icon is a firey fox wrapped around the EARTH! I've been looking at and using THIS symbol to plug into the world wide web for years now! Though consciously I never thought of the Earth as a fox-- apparently my subconscious mind just naturally put 2 and 2 together and used that to communicate to me in the dream state.
I DID figure out the "brown and white howling dogs" part though when I watched the tsunamis rolling in, one after another, in Japan. The color was all brown mud and white froth-- and it was like a pack of attacking dogs in its imagery in some ways, so I believe I get that symbolism.
Plus, the fox is a trickster symbol in Japan. It also symbolizes bad luck, chaos, and insanity. I HAVE known that for years, but since my personal symbolism for "Fox" let alone "Vixen" is very different than the Japanese version, I didn't link it up to begin with.
Well, that's one mystery solved, anyway!
