"Traditional" Cold Maybe More...
Well, I thought I was over that cold and recovering, but this weekend it came back and I got the sore throat again, along with the coughing and sneezing last Saturday evening. Since then, the "migraine chain" has re-emerged and I'm really struggling to be even baseline functional. I have medication to alleviate the symptoms, but I'm frustrated because I can't just get... BETTER already!
Maybe this wasn't a traditional cold. The symptoms went into my chest but remained in my head and throat most of the time as well. I get fevers, unlike a cold, but they're very transitional, coming and going over a matter of hours. Clearly my immune system is fighting something, and almost got rid of it-- but then it came back, which means I'm not doing so well these days.
Of course, anything that triggers my immune system also triggers it to attack my red blood cells and so my chronic fatigue, pain, and fog are an ongoing, churning, cyclical monster!
I'm really frustrated. I can't get anything done!
