Lots of stuff has been accomplished during Cat's stay-cation. Roof cleaned off, holes dug, trees planted, wood chipped and put into the chicken enclosure, hanging out and talking...
Two of those days I had severe flares, including today (Saturday) which means I was laying around, utterly useless and miserable, while people moved around me.
Sleep was amazing, though. He was so super supportive! He gave Cat lots of nurturing and listened to her grouse about various and sundry so I didn't have to, and she actually hugged him more and let him rub her feet and was obviously letting herself start to trust him in a way she never has before now. Even outright asking him for his company. That's a good thing.
Sleep and Mike also got more of a chance to hang out and talk here and there, without either Cat or I being in the middle. Very comfortable and casual low-key socialization, without all the angst and drama both Cat and I (being Type 4s!) tend to bring to the equation. I was happy to step back and let a Type 5w6 and a Type 9 play their own music.
Last night, Cat went to a charity party she helps (by doing art design for them) getting all dressed up and apparently having a blast. She ended up spending the night by sharing a hotel room in downtown Seattle. I was glad she got out and relaxed and enjoyed herself for a time. It was needed!
Tomorrow, more exciting plans-- stay tuned!
