Alan Moore Prevails

We went to see V for Vendetta last night. We thought it was great. It isn't a carbon copy of the graphic novel, I doubt it ever could have been, but it was a very acceptable adaptation. I'm sure not everyone who is a fan of the graphic novel will think the same but that's life. We also thought it was nicely brought into the modern era as it is seen now rather than how Alan Moore viewed it when he wrote it. The Voice as a late night talk show host is just perfect. It it was set in Australia he would have to be a talkback radio host :-) The cast was terrific. The message rings as true today as it did when it was written.
