Lucretia:  *is sitting in a quiet corner of the pub, sipping on a club soda and looking at a book that she picked up in an antique store...*

Wyatt: *after spending some time at Anna's grave, he makes his way to the pub, spotting Lucretia in the corner before joining her* That looks tasty. What is it?

Lucretia:  Oh, this is just a club soda for right now.  Maybe in a bit I'll order a bloody mary.  How are you?  *studies him closely*

Wyatt: *smiles and raises a brow* I'm hanging in there. A lot has changed here but it's still pretty much the town I remember

Lucretia:  Ahh, I see.  So tell me, what is your favorite part of town?

Wyatt: ... *glances out one of the windows with a soft, nostalgic smile* Do you remember the side road that leads up to the town gates where the gated house is?

Lucretia:  I do!  On my trips here, I've always admired the flowers there - so bright and full of color!

Wyatt: *smiles* Yes, they are always very lovely. Anna ... my late wife loved flowers very much. And so did Chris, when she was a small girl. That house is full of fond memories, as brief as they were ...

Lucretia: It still looks so...happy, even now. It's very well kept. *pauses* Even though the time there was brief, it's more important that even now, you still have the memories.

Wyatt: Memories ... *frowns a little for a moment but quickly shakes his head to smile back at her* Yes, as long as they remain, I'll cherish them.

Lucretia:  Mmhmm.  *finishes her club soda and finally orders that bloody mary...she sees something cross his face momentarily*  Something else on your mind?

Wyatt: *blinks and smiles sheepishly as he rubs the back of his head* Well, there has been something on my mind for some time now, ever since I jolted awake that time by the lake. It's ... difficult to explain but I ... had lost my memories of when I had first arrived here but I think I've regained them all ...

Lucretia:  I see.  Do you...want to talk about it or...*her voice trails off, concerned about his feelings but not wanting to seem too nosey*

Wyatt: *orders a tall tankard of ale and smiles slightly* I'm not sure. It has given me a lot to think about the last several days, that's for sure. A lot of it isn't really that big a deal except for ... *his voice trails off for a moment before he laughs nervously* I'm not sure if I should even be telling you this ...

Lucretia:  You would be surprised at the number of things I'm going to go to my death knowing.  I'm sure one more thing added to the list will not hasten the process.  *blushes, thinking that for once, now was [not] the time to be wordy*  Your confidences are safe with me, Wyatt.  *thanks the waitperson for the bloody mary*

Wyatt: *takes a large gulp of his ale when it arrives before speaking up again* I appreciate it. Because a part of me is still trying to come to terms with what happened. *sighs and stares into his tankard* Before ... arriving here, I had thought that ... since Anna had long since passed, I wouldn't be involved with anyone anymore.

Lucretia:  *in stark contrast to her heart beginning to race, she remains outwardly calm as she sips her bloody mary*  I see.  *nods and continues listening*

Wyatt: But I did get involved ... *takes another gulp of his ale* With a ... another man. *shakes his head* Don't get me wrong. I'm not ashamed. I'm just ... surprised at myself. That I could feel something for someone other than Anna. Does that make any sense?

Lucretia:  *feels a poking pang at his revelation of his relationship with another man, because for a moment she thinks of Lelei and where she might be right now, if anywhere*  It does, actually.  When we feel that we won't be able to look for something like that, that's usually the most opportune time for [it] to find [us].  *smile*

Wyatt: *smiles as relief washes over him, glad she understood* Exactly. I've always heard it said before but didn't know just how true it was until recently.

Lucretia:  Only recently?  *takes a calm sip of her drink and notes that she's towards the end of it*

Wyatt: *nods* Yeah. It wasn't like that with Anna. I was smitten with her from the moment I laid eyes on her. There were no surprises. And before her ... there was no one. So ... *grins* Yeah, only recently.

Lucretia:  *lets a bit of a smile upturn one corner of her mouth*  And might I happen to know the lucky person?

Wyatt: Have you met Lo Hak? Although I'm sure you have since he is the bathmaster ...

Lucretia: I have, actually. He's usually around when I go in - quite a charming fellow, if I do say so myself.

WyattL *smiles softly and nods* He is. *grows quiet as he glances out the window again*

Lucretia:  *orders the second bloody mary*  So are the two of you still...*lets her voice trail off, not really needing to finish the sentence*

Wyatt: I ... don't know. I haven't spoken with him since my memories started returning to me. *tightens his grip on the handle of the tankard before taking another swig* I'm not sure if he'd want to bother since I've ... really neglected him all this time.

Lucretia:  He's not spoken to you about your status?

Wyatt: He has no idea that my memories have returned.

Lucretia:  Ah...*thinks about that for a moment*  Do you intend on telling him that they've come back or...?

Wyatt: ... I haven't decided but ... it would only be right that I do. *sighs* Better sooner than later.

Lucretia:  I agree.  It wouldn't do you any sort of good to be less than honest with someone you care about.  Besides, you can't make good decisions if you don't have all of the information available to you, you know.  *smiles and sips from the second bloody mary*

Wyatt: *smiles back* Yeah, you're right. It wouldn't be fair to him to not know. *finishes the rest of his ale and leans back in his chair* I think I feel better now.

Lucretia:  That's good.  I'm just glad I could help out.  *smiles and would flutter if she had brought along her fan*

Wyatt: I appreciate it. And I apologize for dumping my troubles on you. We're meant to have a good time while we're here.

Lucretia:  I am having a good time...I'm sitting here sharing drinks with you, aren't I?  as;lfkj;lodsaf loose lips sink Obel ships as;lfj;as*

Wyatt: *raises an amused eyebrow and grins* That's a good point. Well then, I'm glad I'm not spoiling the fun then! *orders another ale* Do you need anything else? A snack perhaps

Lucretia:  Hmm...*ponders this because she knows that ales aren't the best places for pescatarians...*  Well...um...there were some potato skins on the menu, but that's something for two...would you mind sharing them with me?

Wyatt: Not at all. *smiles and orders them as well* And how is your drink? I assume it's good since you ordered another but I'll ask anyways. *smirks*

Lucretia:  The second one is usually better than the first.  I'll probably just finish this one and go with club soda for the rest of our evening.  I'm sure you'll have enough ale for both of us.  *smile*

Wyatt: Have whatever you like. My treat. *takes a swig of his ale once it arrives* After all, we'll be heading back to Budehuc so might as well enjoy the rest of the night

Lucretia:  I will do exactly that, as long as you promise me that I can do the same for you when we get back to the castle.

Wyatt: *smiles* Well, if I protested, you wouldn't have any of it, right? Just don't feel obligated. A treat is a treat.

Lucretia:  *blushes*  Allright, then.  Let's eat, drink, and be merry!

Wyatt: *lifts his tankard* I'll certainly toast to that.

Lucretia: *does the same with her half-full glass of bloody mary*
