Lucretia: *is taking advantage of yet another lovely spring day to bring a book [nothing heavy this time, something about princes rescuing princesses] down to the lake...she's about to pick a nice spot to sit down when she notices a shock of blonde hair against the green of the glass and she realizes exactly who it is and wanders over to say hello* ...Wyatt...? Hello! *resists the urge to flutter*

Wyatt: *had his eyes closed as he lay on his back in the grass, sunbathing yet again, when he heard Lucretia's voice; opening his eyes and sitting up he turned around and smiled* Hello there, Lucretia. I'm sorry I didn't notice you there earlier. Out for a stroll?

Lucretia: Taking advantage of the lovely weather before it gets too warm again. I had meant to ask you before how your trip had went. Mind if I sit?

Wyatt: *gestures to the ground across from him* No, not at all. Go right ahead.

Lucretia: *arranges her robes for a moment, then gracefully lowers herself to sit, putting her book next to her* Thank you. So you went to the village, you said?

Wyatt: *nods with a smile* I did, briefly. And stopped by the Great Hollow and Duck Village as well. I mostly spent my time in the plains, hunting. It's been quite some time since I did so and I enjoyed it.

Lucretia: You didn't happen to bring back any peckles meat, did you?

Wyatt: I did, but not a lot as it is bound to spoil quickly if not eaten right away. I left the little I did bring with Mamie at the cafe, where she can keep the meat sufficiently cool. *grins* Do you want some?

Lucretia: *flutter!* I would love some. I haven't had any since before I came here, and that's been...nearly two years. Where did the time go? *shakes her head, smiling*

Wyatt: That's a long time to not go without peckles! Then that settles it. I'll roast some for you later this evening, how does that sound?

Lucretia: Oh, no...I couldn't put you to all of the trouble...*Frasier picks now to come trotting along with a quiet !meow!*

Wyatt: *makes a dismissing gesture* No trouble at all, I promise. If you enjoy it and haven't had it in that long, it's the least I can do. *smiles at Frasier* Hey there, little guy.

Frasier: *meow!purr*

Lucretia: Well, if you insist. But I would feel awkward if I didn't bring something...I know. I do have a nice bottle of Kanakan Red wine that I bought in Gregminster...oh, I couldn't tell you how many years ago. It would go nicely with the meat, wouldn't you think so?

Wyatt: *pats Frasier* Well, wine is always most enjoyable with good meat. But don't feel obligated to open such a nice bottle of Kanakan wine. The only favor you can return is enjoying the scrumptious peckles. *grins*

Lucretia: Much like you and the peckles, it's no trouble at all. Besides, everything is better when you share. *flutter!*

Wyatt: *chuckles* That is very true. *continues petting Frasier* I've always believed in sharing. *glances at the book she brought with her* So, what's that your reading?

Lucretia: Oh...this...*completely forgot the book was there, having so much fun talking to Wyatt* It's a book about a very heroic prince that travels across many lands to rescue a princess. I had to take a break from reading another 'Annotated History of Aronia'. *chuckles*

Wyatt: *laughs* Sounds like a more interesting story. I don't blame you. What kinds of adventures does that prince go on then?

Lucretia: Well, I'm about in the middle, so it's where the Prince has escaped from this cave, jumps into the river, floats dooooown the river *makes water motions with her hands* and stumbles upon this village that wants to have [him] for dinner...literally. That's where I've left off.

Wyatt: Hah hah, sounds like he got out of the frying pan only to get tossed into the fire, huh? But he's bound to survive, nonetheless.

Lucretia: I think so. I'm a firm believer in happy endings. *smile*

Wyatt: *grins* Hell, even Geddoe can't disagree with that.

Lucretia: *giggles* He would be hard pressed to, I'm certain. *picks up Frasier and starts scratching him behind his ears* So...ah...what time shall we meet up for peckles?

Wyatt: Whenever is fine with me. *smirks* I've got nothing important to do, after all. It's up to you, whenever works best for you.

Lucretia: Well, tonight's as good a time as any. Don't you think so?

Wyatt: Of course! The sooner, the better. I'd hate for the meat to go bad. Any particular time work best for you? I'll have the meat cooked by then.

Lucretia: Anytime tonight is fine, really. *flutter!*

Wyatt: *laughs* Eager for peckles, aren't you? *grins* All right, is six o'clock good?

Lucretia: Six is just fine. Enough time to make myself presentable. *giggle*

Wyatt: *raises an amused brow* Planning to do something to make yourself "unpresentable" before then?

Lucretia: *laughs aloud* I'll do my best to stay out of trouble, sir. *mock bows*

Wyatt: *grins* I'm glad to hear it. I don't think Frasier here will appreciate it if his lady was caught misbehaving.

Frasier: *mrrrrow!* *looks up at Lucretia*

Lucretia: *stands up carefully and dusts herself off* Well in that case, I should get going - staying out of trouble is hard work, you know. I'll see you tonight! *smiles and waves one-handedly as she carries Frasier*

Wyatt: Hah hah, I bet it is. *waves back* But do try your hardest!

Lucretia: *nods, still smiling and skips wanders off*
