(no subject)
My head hurts.
Generally speaking, I am not a very stressed person. Things happen, I adapt and change to the conditions presented me, I come up with some alternate plan and see that that plan is carried out effectively.
Right now, this does not seem to be the case.
Queen Arshtat had a rather nasty event with the Sun Rune that caused a great deal of damage around the castle. There are a great many people that are sympathetic to her plight with the Rune, but along those same lines there are a great deal of people that are angry with her at how she handled the entire situation.
I have heard that the Castlemaster here is a very fair and nonjudgmental person, and I can only hope that that is still the case. However, one of the castle's residents - her name was Nanami, was vaporized by the Rune. I don't think anyone will take kindly to that, especially since Nanami was very well-loved in the community.
I spoke to the Queen yesterday and I informed her that should she need my assistance, I am always available. As of late, she has been rather reluctant to confide in me. I can understand that on a few levels. I only hope that...whatever she needs, wherever she seeks it, she has some help. Because, having been through this before, the times ahead of us all, particularly for her, are going to be tough.
In other news:
I'm thankful that I have a journal to keep this particular thought in: Wyatt sunbathing.
I happened to be out and about the other day by the lake [because it was still excruciatingly warm outside - a real two-fan day to be sure] and I came across him, with nothing but I guess swimming trunks on. And...never mind the fact that he's shirtless, but...>.> um...
he's kinda handsome.
But it's not like I'm back in secondary school with a crush on the captain of the water polo team. not like he wasn't cute.
Anyway, we had drinks the other day, and he was there the day the True Fire Rune went out. I'm realizing now, that all of the major players from that day are here at the castle - Captain Geddoe, Wyatt, and the Flame Champion [whom I've not seen but definitely have heard about].
Now all we need are 40,000 Harmonian soldiers and the setting would be complete. *sighflutter*
Budehuc how has a tea society, headed up by Josephine. We had a get together the other evening and that was fun.
I thought I would get the baths to myself last night, but not so much. I was in there with...*thinks* Queen, Faylen, Josephine, and...my memory fails me. I do remember that Josephine and the other women were discussing fashion. In a way, I kind of wish I were into those sorts of things - I do admit that Josephine does have a flair for livening up any occasion and styling people. I heard something about Rahal being glammed up for something?
Well. This is all I have time for, at the moment. I have to get moving, I feel like taking Frasier out for a walk. That is, if he's not already left me and is socializing with Bianca. Ta.
