Comic stuffs!!
Helped out some friends of mom's today. Had to spend 5 hours taking tickets for a silent auction at a Quilt/Craft show.
They handed me paper and a ballpoint pen to help kill boredom.
And I actually managed to get some somewhat decent comic character sketches done!!
So! Below there are sketches and some plot! Be warned!!
Little sister. One of two main characters! It looks like her name is going to be Adelaide. It just, seems to work... Anyways!! Her parents died a year or so ago. It was an accident at work. Her older brother has been taking care of, well, as much as he was allowed.
See, she has been very sick all her life and has had to basically grow up in a hospital. There is no cure and the doctors finally told her that she had two choices: 5-7years in the hospital or 2 years 'free'. She chose the two years. The extended family doesn't want her to leave since they would get more money from the Will by her staying alive longer, but her brother wants her happy and quite college, using his education fund to take her away.
She now lives with him.
This would be the brother. His name hasn't settled down to a single choice yet. He's 21 and completely devoted to seeing all of his little sister's wishes come true. Even if it hurts him.
He's intelligent and was actually very playful and creative, but after the death of his parents and the up-coming death of his baby sister, he's given up. He's putting everything he has into making her as happy as possible and doesn't actually expect to live long after. The people of the little town they're living in want to help change his mind.
The librarian! His design has changed SOOOO many times, but I think I'm finally happy! He's 27, clever and a little odd. He also adores the siblings ((and if brother ended up with any guy it would probably be him >>;)) The library isn't often used in the little town, so it's more like his second apartment...
The doctor. She is the first one to know about the sister's fate but isn't allowed to say anything. Still, she is the one that points people in the right direction in regards to the siblings, helping people see that Adelaide is NOT a spoiled little girl and that there is a reason for the attitude her brother often shows.
Best friends with 'tall dark and confident' ((as you all called him. His name is Darren btw)) She likes fashion and will play with many different looks. She is also the town gossip.
The Game Queen. Geeks everywhere make the journey to this small little town to just spend a minute of their lives in her presence. She is a sweetheart and the only reason the town has a VERY good internet service.

After I eat, I will play with those One Piece requests! Feel free to request more...or hey, you can even request stuff with my characters! It would probably be some good practice and help me make some progress with them!
