So I've seen this.
God, it just makes me so sad. Part of me is so angry with Naruto for being so goddamn selfless; he can't live without Sasuke, but can't burden him on anyone else. Just -- AUGH. It upsets me. He loves Sasuke so much and Sasuke brushes it off. In fact, nobody really seems to understand just how much he loves him. Kakashi, yeah maybe a little bit in that he keeps telling them to leave so he can kill Sasuke, but even suggesting that to Naruto kind of suggests that he doesn't understand. Sakura, unfortunately, just cries, and she thought the whole "confession" would be enough to make him stop.
Nothing can make him stop. This just proves it.
This is always a pleasant thing to go to sleep on, no? And I'll be chewing it over until I can actually read the translation on Thursday.
I thought Naruto saying "I'm really glad I met you" was the saddest I was going to get -- apparently not.
