the leak
I haven't updated in like half a week...I don't get on the computer as much as I used to. But not much of anything spectactular has happened since my last update.
I'm still up to the same things. Work; staying up late hanging with miranda, nicole, and ryan; and sleeping way too much, or way too little. So far this summer has been much better than the summer of '04. However, I feel like I'm just coasting through the summer, and it's going by pretty fast considering I will be starting school in a month.
Speaking of school, I got my letter from U of I...they canceled my admission, and cancelled all my classes, my housing, ect. It was an emotional time when I opened it up with Miranda. But I'm not going to give up. Tomorrow I am going to call the U of I and fight until they change their minds. I will do anything to not have to go to IVCC and stay here for another semester. I will hate it. I will keep you updated.
I cleaned my car out completely yesterday...it only took about an hour. I completely vacuumed it out, wiped down everything (getting rid of the dust ick), cleaned the windows (big mistake, streaks are not good), and then went to the car wash for the exterior of the car (I got the most expensive one 6.50 :-p). I also did the laundry and dishes. I need to start doing some more cleaning, it makes me feel accomplished.
Tomorrow I am going to make it a productive day. I'm going to get up at 10-ish, call U of I, do some grocery shopping, maybe work out (haha we'll see), and definitely work 4-C (cash). I feel as if I'm missing some stuff. I was planning this all out earlier...hrm. Whatever.
Monday night I went swimming with Wade at his house. It was really weird, but a good weird. It brought back a lot of old memories. Some things never changed. I feel touched by the fact that he left all my notes that I wrote him way back when. I was such a total loser, their notes were super dorky! haha.
It's near 5 in the morning, and I did not get caught by my dad! Yay! Ryan and I had to drive around for a while though b/c when we were driving down here he was getting ready for work. Thankfully we dodged that bullet.
Tonight Nicole, Ryan, Miranda, and myself hung out and watched Hide and Seek. It's a very good movie, despite popular belief. The alternate endings were good too..."Happy Drawing" :-p. They are totally going to make a sequel, and I am totally stoked to see it.
