I don't know who he could play... he's a very versatile actor but I think they're having The Mandarin as the villain in the last one and he can't play him.

It's not like I'm against the guy but I don't know. Whenever he crooks his eyebrow and smile with chiclet teeth, I feel weird. He's too young. Y'know he's the leader of the Avengers in the comics but can you honestly sit through Chris Evans bossing around RDJ with a straight face? If he was older or exuded authority then it's another story. I think the casting could have been worse and I like Chris better than all of the other actors who were in the final round of casting but... yeah. He's a kid.
Actually, Evans was a good sport about that. He said "I don't think anyone is going to get away with ordering Downey around" so it's safe to assume that his Captain America won't be like the one in the comics. Just the cocky, brazen member of the team, I guess.
I still think this movie is a baaaad idea. I just hope they don't lose a lot of cash so they'll still make IM3.

Chris is not that bad. He made Fantastic 4 and it's sequel bearable despite his weird sexual tension with his on-screen sister (and Michael Chiklis).
I've never seen him playing a different role tho, all his parts are the cocky guy. Different variations of Johnny Storm.
