(no subject)
so i want it to be thanksgiving break already. i want to see everyone. the only part i dont like about break is all the hw i have to do and start working on papers and stuff. not to mentionn having to work alot too prolly.
im working on thanksgiving till 3. so that means like 315 330 since we close at 3 and i know theres going to be people coming in to shop at like 2:55 so yeah. i knida like working thanksgiving tho, idk it gets me outta the house so i dont have to hear my mom and gradma bitch about the turkey and etc. plus i think i get holiday pay so its all good. i miss watching the parade tho. idk. i like seeing the broadway acts normally.
last night i went to a concert in the city with my brother and nora. it was supposed to be my bro and his 2 friends but they bailed, so i went.
ok the place is in like the middle of nowhere. it was surrounded by car dealerships. and we had to keep moving off line b/c the people would be bringing cars out of the place but people in line were nice and let us back in. the bands were The Redwalls, Rooney, and Polyphonic Spree. i didn't know any of the bands, i only knew 2 songs by Rooney b/c my bro loves them. it wasn't so bad, i was jst tired tho. b/c that day i worked from 8-3:30, came home ate some easymac and we went for the train like 10min later. so yeah i had like no rest time.
um.. i want this semester to be over already, and i hope to get good grades. the only classes im worried about are Philosophy, and English. Bio im actually doing really good, but thats only due to the realllly good professor. Pysch isn't so bad, first test i got the highest grade in the class (it was an 88) and the second test we all did bad but then she made it take-home so theres like a 100 lol. History i got a B on the midterm i think so im fine. Jazz is just UGH. But Philosohpy i got a C on the first test, B on the second, i think im gonna fail the one this week b/c when we were reviewing i was getting most of it but then idk what happened i was just sitting there going "what???" and english is eh b/c i gotta C on the midterm, and for my homeworks i have alot of check minuses, but a couple check plus and a few just check, i think she doesn'tlike my writing, and we have a paper due soon so im worried. idk i just need to keep up my GPA.
tomorrow im working Open House at school, which shouldn't be too bad. im just doing alot of mini tours. we dont walk around the whole campus, we show them the gym, clusters, and stand by the Quad, and point to all the buildings then lol. but hey i get paid. then right after i have to go straight to waldbaums. i already know im going to be late. but whatev they can deal.
ok i have alot of reading to do and i have to get ready for work so i guess i'll see u all on thanksgiving break
