I love love LOVE "Friday Night Lights". I finished the whole season in about 2 days and I'm already making my way through it again. It's that good!!
So I don't know really what to say about FNL, it's just amazing. I love everything about it. I understand what all the hype is about now. I knew I'd like it, but didn't think this much. It's witty, funny, sensitive, heart-wrenching, and epic. Every episode has so much depth other than football and high school drama. Unlike One Tree Hill and The OC, I can actually see this stuff happening. Both OTH and the OC started realistic but by the second it was s like these kid's are sophomores or juniors, they aren't going to be completely on their own and having sex left and right. Granted in FNL they like sex too, but it's a little better. It's more about the whole picture of Dillon and not just this silly drama.
And I absolutely adore all the characters!! Well almost all of them. I cannot stand Tyra and I understand why her character acts the way she does, but she's so hypocritical even for what's she been through. But Adrienne is a great actress!!! JESS! hehee.
I'm pretty sure if I ever meet a real Matt Saracen, I would banggg him. lol. Okay, not. But I'd want him as a boyfriend for sure. And him with Julie = ♥ so beautiful.
I love that there are so many different aspects on today's teenagers in the show; like Landry having this screamo band in Texas. I LOVE IT. And that Julie dresses all emo, but cutesy.
I love how Jason Street is actually a really good guy and they didn't make him into an arrogant jerk. That's usually how things go, where the star athlete cheats on his girlfriend and is an alcoholic and blah blah. But Jason really loved his girl, was respectful, and <3333333. I love him. Adorable.
Coach Taylor and Tami are the greatest parents ever. haha. They are amazinggggg and so funny.
That's all. Horrible review but whatever, I'm going to go watch the rest of the season again. Seriously, 22 episodes of the American Dream ... my dream. Wonderful and perfect.
And of course had to check out the actors, the youngest one plays Julie at 18, all the others are like 25 and up. The guy who plays Matt is 25!! And the guy who plays Jason is 29 or something. How weird is that!? I knew actors usually play younger on screen, but that is so much older. That's gotta be a little awkward to be 16 again. They play it off for sure, but still 25 playing a 15 year old?? EEE stuttering Matt, I love him so much.
My dad got remarried. Blahhh. It's official now, they've basically been living together every weekend and break since last year. I don't know what to think, but things are weird. It hurts. I hurt. My best friend is moving to Rockford, an hour and a half away from our hometown. :( Stock her family... but I dunno. I just want to sleep forever.
