New Years Eve/Day
This is somewhat of a cross-post from my MySpace blog, but I had to say it:
If you're on this friends list (with some exceptions), you will be getting a present / presents.
In addition to New Years Day being my favorite gift-giving day, I did promise to you guys that if I won anything in the writing contest I'd get you guys something. And I shall. But that'll be an addition to the New Years present.
(Monica, darling, you're not on my MySpace, but I didn't want to forget you. You shall be getting a present. Unfortunately, the PostSecret Foundation and M. Poppy Z. Brite will not. No offense to them, of course, but I did want to make it clear ... Although I would like to know what M. Brite would like for New Years. The person who has everything, indeed!)
As I've said before, I use Chinese rules for gift-giving: If you don't tell me what you want, your present will be that delightful, wonderfully-useful and all-encompassing root of all evil: cash.
Oh, and you guys are invited to my New Years bash. Wherever that ends up being.
