Around 10PM, my parents decide to take out our dog, Vicont, for a walk. I was all for it, but my little brother (as usual) protested and decided to stay at home and watch some movies on TV. Men.
As we walked down the streets, I sang a couple of songs to my mother from my vocals Exam (which I've aced!), and we walked into this large field with electric wires that probably lead to our TTC's Power station. While our dog was hopping around in the fields, trying to find something to destroy; my eye caught a glimpse of a tiny flash.
I turned my head around, but there was nothing, so I assumed that it
was another one of those things where your eyes make you see things that are not there.
Suddenly, i saw another little spot of light floating around from the side of my view.
"Look over there!" I pointed, "Do you guys see it? Is it electricity?"
My parents turned their heads, stared into the field until we all saw another glowing dot floating around, disappearing into mid air.
"I think that's a firefly" my father shrugs,
"Oh dear gosh, this is the first time i've ever seen one!" I exclaim in excitement.
"We had plenty of those in Israel" my dad explains.
"funny, never encountered one" I say bluntly.
Either way, I was so excited about it- that i started running around passby-ers and telling them about the fireflies in the fields, of course I got nervous so my hebrew-accent started acting up. But I didn't have the time to feel embarrassed! This is a moment to remember!
