'Cause down the shore everythings alright...
Monday thru thurs me and trish went down the shore. I picked up trish like 10:30ish and was a little bummed because it was like all dreary out, but i was still happy to be getting away. It was actually pretty hot and humid down the shore that day but still kinda cloudy so we went to stone harbor and cape may and checked out some shops. We drove along this street in cape may and saw these incredibly nice houses..i dunno if they were apartments or bed and breadkfasts but they were soooo huge and pretty. We ate dinner at this place the lobster house. it was neat like right on the water. haha we picked probly the worst seat where everyone walks by you and watches you eat. It was pretty funny seeing me and trish clean these crabs and wack them with these mallets...it was so gross, but at the same time they were good. I think that night we just chilled in.
Tuesday was another kinda cloudy day, ha but trish swore she saw some sun. so we get all ready for the beach and head to avalon. we were there for maybe 10 minutes and then it started raining :/ haha oh well..we headed back to the campground and got ready for AC! Christina was pretty busy with some stuff at home so she didnt make it. I was real nervous about driving to ac but it wasnt as bad as i thought. still a little scary and i was driving like an old woman tho. we went to showboat to get a transfer and trish got her card...they were giving away price is right shirts so i got me one of those to add to my casino nighttime attire. Then we headed to trump plaza and checked in. we were on the 32nd floor out of 37...it took a little adjusting for me to get used too..i was feeling a little lightheaded. the room was very nice tho. It was rainy in ac that night and we walked down to the sands for their $7.77 buffet. we waited in line to get a card for like a 1/2 hour so that sucked, then the buffet line was kinda long. I dont think im a huge fan of the sands. anyways we walk back and trishas flipflops were super slippery it was too funny. We got ready and went downstairs to the casino..we saw this old lady get security called on her ass because she was cursing at the gaurd and all it was crazy. Pick your fortune wasnt too good to me, i played garys attique appraisal and i did kinda good on that...then trish got me hooked on wheel of fortune thats my new game! love it. the drink lady came around and was like would you like 2 drinks so i'm like sure. Well i never thought the casino made their drinks strong but i was pretty buzzed i dont know what they put in them. We were alittle hungry again so we got some grilled cheese at their little diner place...then we called it a night.
Wednesday i woke up to "scotty doesnt know" at like 9:00..it was christina calling because we were gonna meet up at the beach. It was real nice out that day so we got ready, played wheel of fortune one last time, and went to ocean city. The beach was packed. Chris and her sis met up with us may 12:30ish and we stayed there alllll day. I really suck at putting sun screen on...i always have these crazy marks haha anyways me and trish got some mack and mancos for lunch and later on we got some of that awesome peanutbutter and chocolate kohrs icecream..soooo good! I went in the ocean for the first time in years. I was kinda scared..you know, sharks and all. trish, chris, and maggie were pretty far out and they kept yelling for me to join them. it was fun tho. I had a wardrobe malfunction in the ocean but i dont think anyone saw so thats good. We all went to get some dinner at this one place and it ended up just being breakfast and lunch so christina asked this lady on the street where we could get some good food haha shes so gutsy sometimes...the lady told us to go to this place called something like "piccinis" i think. good italian food..whatever christina got was bangin..something in a pesto sauce i dunno. i spilled all this sauce over me on the walk back, im so messy sometimes. then we all parted ways. Me and trish got back to the campground and got cleaned up then had a few drinks and played some hangman...it was pretty funny, goodtimes.
Yesterday was another hot one so we headed to avalon...the sand was incredibly hot there it was painful! Stayed for a few hours then headed back. Trish is staying for the weekend so i was on my own for the drive home. i went thru one of those toll stops and i think i only put in a nickel and a dime insteady of 35 cents haha whoops my light never turned green so im sure i will be getting a bill in the next couple days.
It was a fun trip! and so nice to get out of dodge for a few days....well im still on vacation til monday so gonna go relax!
