So I worked most of the day today. Actually, I had to work at 4 but went to Nick's house at 1 to hang out, which is..kinda like work....or not at all. Anyway, I hadn't eaten anything since I went to Nick's house and had KFC (he was mad that I didn't ask him if he wanted anything, ha) I got off work about 5 minutes after 10 and decided I was going to go to Hardees to get some food before I came home since I can't cook anything here after 10 because my brother sleeps out in the living room next to the kitchen. I drove over to Hardee's and see it's closed. Damn. I get the next bright idea to go get Chinese food, until I remember they close at 10. Fuck! Then I think, well I can order a pizza, except I can't wait that long and they always ring our extremely loud doorbell, which would wake everyone up and yada yada.....so scratch that. Final idea: Why don't I just go get that really good bbq chicken at the Walmart deli? Walmart is always open! I drive over there and while waiting for the green light to enter the parking lot, I swear I see cop lights. I blow it off and keep driving, as soon as I get to the very front of the parking lot, I spotted him.
There's the cop car I thought I saw, parked VIP style about 5 feet from the doors. I take a close spot and eye inside the car, the cop must be inside since the car is empty, but still running. Which makes me wonder..hmm I wonder what happened.
Walmart has some pretty interesting things happen, such as the two women that put a bunch of clothes into a cart in the middle of the store and then set it ablaze.
Anyway, I go back to my orignal plan to get me some goooood bbq chicken. But as soon as I turn the corner and see the deli, my little heart dropped. CLOSED!! Unbelieveable. However, I do have a whole grocery store right behind me. But most of the stuff in there you have to actually cook, a talent I don't really possess. So I'm walking towards some "easy bake" foods when I spied the cop in an aisle with a bunch of food in his hands. He wasn't doing work at all, he was just using his priviledges to run some errands. I didn't catch and see what was in his hands, but after I had walked by the aisle I knew I had to know. I bet anything it was some donuts. heh. I turned around and marched back past the aisle he was in once more, I think I got a glimpse of carrots...nope not good enough, turning around again, I walked right into his aisle. Walking by him and slowing down right when I went past him to carefully examine his merchandise (in his hands you sickos!). He gave me the weirdest look too, it was priceless. But after all the trouble I went through, the guy only had some carrots, some wheat bread and some ham.
And all I ended up with was some bbq chips and pocket change.
