Thesis - One of the actually good movies featuring a person investigating a snuff film (NOT good: 8MM, Evil Dead Trap). Surprisingly restrained for one of those movies that's like, secretly an indictment of the audience, who crave gore (NOT like: the films of Haneke)! Stars the SUPER ADORBS little girl from Spirit of the Beehive all grown

And I'm wondering if that Birthday Suits show was the one that happened while I was in town. Weren't we all hanging out at Cory and Mary's that night?

I am not totally sure what you dudes were doing. I know I went straight from D&D and met my friend Lily, who was DYING for me to see Pee-Lander Z!

I don't care for Pains of Being Pure at Heart, but I really like Twin Shadows!

You were at the potluck before D&D right? Emily and I had been planning on going, but there was shitty weather and busing to the West Bank is often harder than it should be. Maybe we would have tried harder if we knew more friends would be there...

Have you listened to the new Destroyer album?

I have not listened to Destroyer. Do you think I would like them?

Bday Suits was the one at the Turf, so even MORE fun to bus over, right?

Probably not the older Destroyer as much, but the new one is pretty great. A bunch of my classmates - the ones who played me Twin Shadows - also love it.

It must have been a different weekend. The Birthday Suits show when I was in town was at the Triple Rock. Are they playing all the time now? It would be cool to see them when I'm in town.
