wow, hard to believe that sooooo much has happened since i last updated. WOW (week of welcome for those not in the know) training started last wednesday. i stayed at smith with elle, it was good times. many a british accent was used. and many a movie was watched. and many late night was had. anyways, WOW training was interesting. seemed a little redundant and long but it was all good. the saturday night live skit started off really bad (especially when it looked like i wouldn't have a partner, i was tina fey from weekend update) but it ended up being really good. the spartan cheerleaders were hilarious and it all flowed a lot better than it had at any rehearsal. will and i were good, i'm glad the interpretive dance was cut. louis vuitton on strike! ahhh!!!
so then WOW started. i had mcelvaney, all first years, and i thought they would really like us b/cof our fun facts (we all put down different things, ranging from the obvious to the untrue) but nope, i had 6 of 15 the first night and about 3 the next day and then no one came. but i still saw my kids at the events, so i was glad they were going, even if it wasn't with me. carrying the alabama flag at rotunda passage was fun, even if it meant that i had to go first (that place felt like a funeral)
this week was just great to catch up with people, its good to ease into the swing of things, even though i was massively stressed and running on like 5 hrs of sleep a night. it was great to see everyone again and have a screaming reunions (well, sort of). this year has gotten off to a great start.

sunday: moving in mcelvaney, mary kate and ashley, bring it on cheers,3 hr lunches, kicking people out of the 2nd floor of phi delt (they were first years, it was allowed)
monday: um, nothing i can remember
tuesday: late night ice cream, SNL skit, screaming at the olympics
wednesday: activities fair (stupid leagally blondes song), rotunda passage (woot!)
while WOW was different than what i thought it would be, it was good. lots of free shirts (6) and u really do get to know your other leaders really well. i've gotten to know some people that i would never have known and know other people better now so its all good. next year: CORRAL!!!
