update
here's what i've been up to:
work: in fundraising, the highest source of funds comes from having events. well as a finance assistant i never get to plan the events. until now. my boss gave me my first event about a month ago and it has gone unbelievebly well. i have buttload of money already in and a buttload more on its way. the event is tomorrow night so we'll see how it goes.
class: is going swimmingly (is that the correct usage of that?). i'm absolutely obsessed with improv, comedy, improv comedy, and SAK. i can't get enough of it and it makes me extremely happy. this is what i've always wanted to do but never thought i could. and i can. and i can do it well. and i know that sounds cocky, but i'm really just trying to put the positive vibes out into the atmosphere.
life: i'm so busy lately i don't even know where to begin. tom petty was wonderful as previously stated and i want to make it a goal to go to more concerts. i love live music, i think it's good for the soul to get that excited. jill came up this weekend and it was so wonderful to have her around again. it made me really miss all my peeps. maybe we should have a mini-reunion weekend sometime in late nov or dec. see if we can get everyone back together again. i miss everyone so much. something to kick around.
i've decided that i am going to stay in orlando after the election because i want to finish my studies at SAK and because i like it here and i feel like things are just getting started for me here. it took me a long time to start thinking of orlando has "home" but i beginning to get there. i don't intend on staying forever, though. i'm still going to make my way up to chicago within the next five years.
this is getting long and there's so much more to say. i hope everyone is doing well. let's get into emailing each other. i'm jessica535@gmail.com. drop me a line wheneva.
