Not so exciting day

Mar 30, 2005 01:49

Random observation: My livejournal makes me look bipolar (the "mood" is happy one day and sad the next)

Nothing really eventful happened today, which I guess is a pretty good thing, I guess. I was really, really productive though... I even made some time to play some fh with j! How I've missed it so!! I also saw my first bat of the spring outside of Alumnae Hall, Yay! (Only I would be excited about such things... nerd...) At least one of my salamander larvae is still alive, which is good, except it hid from the planaria I tried to feed it-- why is every animal I own scared of EVERYTHING (ie. Rocky, Lucky, & the Salamanders)?!
Things that sucked today: Not eating all day until 5:30pm, feeling poopy from the period, lack of sleep, and hunger(aka major migraine), and the hall mtg--> apparently we need to clear more room for boys in Meyran (options: 2nd or 3rd floor going coed or all male) WHAT THE FUCK IS HOOD COMING TO AND WHY DOES IT HAVE TO SUCK SO MUCH??!! Obviously, my vote is for coed second floor. I'm about ready to pull rank and declare that there's more upperclassmen on 3rd floor, so we should get priority and get what we want... ha ha

I have an Aquatic Ecology trip ALL this weekend to Wallops Island. It sounds like we'll be doing some pretty cool shit, but I still don't like that I have to spend my whole weekend (aka FREE TIME) doing it. Plus, I only like 3 out of the 7 other ppl in my class, so I'm not looking forward to 72 hours with the others. Which brings me to the latest addition to my Tuesday/Thursday entries:

Weird ass things the most annoying and obnoxious adult learner EVER did in Chesapeake Bay/Aquatic Ecology classes today:
1. Ate sugar snapped peas and a LOAF of pumpernickle bread @ 8:30am, examining each peapod as he ate it (mind you he sits in the front row, very center in front of the screen)
2. Yet again, contributed totally irrelevant comments and tried to correct and argue with the professor who has a doctorate in Aquatic Ecology (may I add that he does this every class, but still does poorly on the exams)
3. Dug the shit out of his scalp like usual

P.S.- Good luck with everything Sam; I hope life brings you the best and everything works out for you! :)
