GREEN DAY!
So last night, MAY 6TH. It was AMAZING.
Yeah last night i went to my second Green Day concert with Zester, but this time we went to Cleveland. It took about 3 hours to get there, and in the car we just kind of listened to Green Day, and wrote notes to each other! Soo after we got there finally, there was still about 1 hour and 15 minutes untill MCR came on..so we went around and looked for Shirts for about 45 minutes, but we didn't find any yet. So we went back to our seats, which i admitt that i really didn't like at first, but i'm sooo happy we actually sat where we were now. We were like right right right next to the side of the stage, so when Billie went to switch guitars, he was RIGHT there. And like MIke came to the side of the stage, HE DYED HIS HAIR BLACK! yes, it was really really cool. But anyways MCR was really really good! They're really cool they were like " Ladies, if any guys from a band come up to you and ask you to show them your stuff just so you can get backstage, i want you to spit in their faces, because your better than that." i thought it was really cool. so they played like a half hour set and then at the set change, me and erin got t-shirts! but then yeah we came back and then Green Day came on!!! omgsh it was amazing they started with American Idiot("I WANT YOU TO SING SO LOUD THAT EVERY REDNECK IN AMERICA CAN HEAR YOU!"), then J.O.S then Holiday("THIS SONG IS NOT ANIT-AMERICAN ITS ANTI WAAAAR!"),Are we the Waiting, St. Jimmy, Longview,Hitching a ride,Brain Stew, Jaded, They did A cover of Shout!, Operation Ivy's "Knowledge" She,Minority,Basket Case, King for a day, Wake me up when September ends, which during one of those songs Billie did HHis little Masturbation thingie! umm aww Mike was soo great during that show! we did the Heeey-ooooo thingie. Then they went away and then we all did the "GREEN DAY GREEN DAY GREEN DAY" thing and they came back for the Encore with Maria, B.O.B.D., Queens "we are the champions" where Billie is singing then he goes "I'm Rick James Bitch!" then Mike and Tre(who the whole show was making his awesome faces and throwing his drum sticks!) left and Billie played time of your life, alone in the spotlight with confetti comeing down ( i got a piece!) all by himself on electric guitar.And at one point during the show, Billie says something like "Bush isn't the leader of anything don't take all the bull shit, you are the leaders." <--it was something like that. And During Knowledge when they got the three adience members to come up, the Guitar guy said "i'm going to a good charlotte concert on tuesday!" And Billie Joe says "Shut Up" i thought it was funny! One point when he was introducing everyone (we all knew who everyone was..but) He was like The BEst Bass player in the world Mr. Mike Dirnt The Best Rock and Roll drummer in the world Mr. Tre Cool, then he was like and i'm George Bush, and everyone booed! then he acted surprised, then said, no my name is asshole! and everyone cheered (i think he said asshole?)Then There was these really annoying like 10 year olds who kept looking at me and Erin like every three seconds..and i just gave her "the look" because it was really annoying They tried to rock out to "wake me up when september ends" like not just rock out, but like freak out and during it they were like "we love you Billie Joe!!" ..I was like what the hell.. Then it was over, and i felt like I broke a vocal chord. But yes, that was an amazing show. They seriously are the greatest band ever, idk what i would do with out 'em!
Theeen we went outside CSU, and the weird ppl were still selling t-shirts, but there was no good ones.
Ya, so then we had to drive 3 hours all the way back to Michigan..and i went back to erins, and we went to sleep!
