1. Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack?
Not usually.
2. What is your favorite drink while reading?
tea or coffee, depending on what kind of mood I'm in.
3. Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
I only write in reference books that I know I'm not going to give to anyone. Language books, mostly. (Translations, definitions, etc.)
4. How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ear? Laying the book flat open?
Bookmark. Though I have the dog-ear habit for paperbacks.
5. Fiction, Non-Fiction, or Both?
Both, If it's fiction, it's usually sci fi or fantasy. Non-fiction is usually language/linguistics/writing.
6. Are you a person who tends to read to the end of a chapter, or can you stop anywhere?
I can pretty much stop anywhere and pick up.
7. Are you a person to throw a book across the room or on the floor if the author irritates you?
Nope. I'd take the book to the nearest used book store and use the credit to get something I like.
8. If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop and look it up right away?
Context usually, and if I can't figure it out, I'd look it up. (That's the linguist in me)
